Admissions

Admissions

We still have space available for the 2018-2019 School Year, but spots are going quick! Call the preschool office at (310) 379-7413 or email the director at Brittany@besidethesea.org to see if we have a space that meets your family’s needs.

Children are eligible to attend Trinity Lutheran Church Preschool at 2 years old (24 months). We understand that all children grow and develop at their own rate, and do not require them to be potty trained.

Enrollment is granted without discrimination of gender, race, color, creed or political belief. All individuals from the community and of all faiths are welcome to be part of our preschool.

Parent Involvement

In line with the Lutheran expression of faith, Trinity Lutheran Church Preschool emphasizes parenting as a vocational calling, expecting our parents to play active roles in their child’s education.

Parent involvement is an important part of our program. It is a way for parents to be meaningfully engaged in their child’s education and school experience. You are your child’s first teacher, and being actively involved in their preschool experience helps us provide the best quality of care and education to your child. Additionally, parent involvement extends teaching outside the classroom, creates a more positive experience for children and helps children perform better when they are in school. As part of the Admission Agreement, each family is committed to contributing twelve (12) parent involvement hours each year.
